USA: The “Trump Phone” is still pending.

Those of you who were hoping for the announced Trump smartphone will have to wait a little longer.

The so-called T1, advertised as a "phone for Americans," is still unavailable. Customers who have already paid a $100 deposit must continue to wait; a concrete delivery date is still lacking.

Instead of new goods: refurbished smartphones

While their own device is still pending, Trump Mobile is currently selling other smartphones through its online store. They are offering refurbished devices, including older Samsung Galaxy models and a "Renewed" iPhone 15. The pricing is striking: in some cases, the prices are higher than those of new devices from established retailers. Despite this, the products are being marketed as particularly attractive and high-quality.

The initially heavily emphasized "Made in America" ​​promise is now irrelevant. It became clear early on that a smartphone produced entirely in the USA at the announced price was technically and economically unfeasible. Consequently, this message was quietly withdrawn.

Many announcements, little substance

The Trump Phone was originally announced for late summer 2025, but has been delayed several times. To this day, it remains unclear whether and when a dedicated device will actually be released – and whether it will be a standalone product or simply a rebranded model. Currently, Trump Mobile primarily offers expensive refurbished smartphones.
