Samsung Galaxy A37: First images reveal design trick and 50 MP camera
Samsung appears to be deviating slightly from the design language of its more expensive sibling with the upcoming Galaxy A37. Exclusive renders reveal the mid-range smartphone in lavender for the first time. The frame immediately catches the eye.
While Samsung is sticking with flat edges, the right side has been designed in an unusual way. The entire upper section, containing the volume and power buttons, appears wider than the lower part of the frame. This distinguishes the device from the Galaxy A57 or A17, where only the button cluster itself protrudes.
The front is dominated by a flat display with a central cutout for the camera. The bezels appear narrow, although the bottom chin is traditionally slightly thicker than the rest. On the back, the manufacturer has installed three vertically arranged lenses in a camera bump.
The flash is located directly next to them. Technically, the A37 likely benefits significantly from its larger sibling. Rumors suggest it uses the same 50-megapixel main camera found in the Galaxy A57. This is probably the Sony IMX906 sensor. An 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 5-megapixel macro camera complete the package.
Power is supplied by a 5,000 mAh battery, which, like its predecessor, supports 45-watt fast charging. The software is expected to run Android 16 with the One UI interface. Samsung seems to be speeding up the release schedule.
Instead of March, as with the previous model, the market launch could take place as early as the first two weeks of February. We're eager to see if the asymmetrical frame design feels as good in the hand as it looks in the pictures.
