One newly released feature is the ability to interact with Microsoft Edge. With user permission, Copilot can review tabs in Edge to summarize information, compare data, and take actions like booking a hotel.

Additionally, Copilot can transform previous searches into a more organized "storyline." This will help users revisit old ideas or resume interrupted trains of thought.

Next, Microsoft introduced a new avatar called Mico, which is short for Microsoft Copilot. This avatar is designed to make conversations feel more natural by displaying expressions and changing colors.

These enhancements are designed to increase Copilot's appeal, especially in browsers. The next feature is Groups, which allows Copilot to become a shared space and support up to 32 people.

This feature facilitates real-time teamwork on writing and other projects. Copilot also features long-term memory, which helps users keep track of thoughts and lists.

Memory can also recall essential details about the user for future interactions. According to Microsoft AI Product Manager Ella Steckler, this capability is crucial, especially since Copilot is a companion for its users.

Finally, Microsoft is also improving the quality of Copilot's health-related responses. The AI assistant now focuses on credible sources. All these updates are now available in the US, and Microsoft will expand the feature to the UK, Canada, and other countries in the coming weeks.
