XYTE ONE – The urban electric three-wheeler

The  XYTE ONE  is a new, three-wheeled, all-electric vehicle from the German company XYTE Mobility that combines the comfort of a car with the maneuverability of a scooter —all without a helmet. 

Thanks to an integrated safety cell reminiscent of racing technology, it meets legal requirements, allowing it to be driven with a standard car driver's license.

The vehicle measures only about 79 cm wide and maneuvers effortlessly through narrow city streets. It can be parked almost anywhere. The safety structure is based on a sturdy aluminum frame, complemented by a four-point harness, sports seat, and a low-mounted battery for a low center of gravity.

Technically, the XYTE ONE boasts an electric motor that delivers approximately 19 kW (25 hp) and a torque of around 55 Nm. This enables it to accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in approximately 2.7 seconds, reach a top speed of roughly 99 km/h, and have a range of up to 112 km (WMTC).

The vehicle is also comfortable thanks to a 72-liter storage space, LED lighting, reverse gear, ABS on all three wheels, double wishbone suspension, a 10-inch touchscreen with LTE connectivity, and a remote monitoring app.

XYTE Mobility emphasizes that the development of the XYTE ONE is based on the experiences of over 250 drivers, including the legendary BMW C1, without having any official connection with BMW.

The vehicle's world premiere occurred on September 8, 2025, at the IAA Mobility in Munich. It will be launched in cities such as Barcelona, ​​Paris, Rome, Milan, Madrid, and Munich. The first 500 pre-orders will receive a promotional price of approximately €13,008 (approximately US$15,288). Deliveries will begin in early 2026.
