Pay attention to the order in which the cables are plugged in.

The correct order for plugging in cables is essential for charging smartphones and other battery-powered devices. Think about it: Do you plug the cable into your phone first, and then the power adapter into the wall socket?

This exact error can harm your device. According to Huawei, it can result in “data loss, performance degradation, reduced battery life, phone freezing and restarting, screen flickering and noise, circuit damage, and other problems.”

The reason for this is overvoltage. When plugging the power adapter into the wall socket, brief voltage spikes lasting a few milliseconds can occur.
