Motorola opens Android 16 beta to more models: Moto G56, G75, and G67 get early access.

Motorola is expanding its Android 16 testing program to include more affordable Moto G devices. In addition to the G75 and G67, the Moto G56 is now eligible to participate. Interested users in Brazil, Latin America, and Europe can register via the Motorola Feedback Network and try out the new version early.

The update brings numerous improvements to the Moto G56. These include a notification filter that automatically reduces excessive notifications within a short time. Visual alerts can also be activated, where the screen or camera lights up when calls or messages are received.

Customizable profiles for different everyday situations, such as work, exercise, or sleep, make it easier to tailor the app to individual needs. New security features enhance protection against attacks, while compatibility with modern Bluetooth LE audio devices has been improved.

Registration for the beta program involves several steps. First, interested users need a Motorola Community account. Next, the device's IMEI or serial number must be entered in the profile. Then, participation in the Feedback Network must be activated, and the appropriate region selected on the beta testing page. After completing the form, users must wait for confirmation.

Motorola will send the details via E-mail, and once approved, the update will be delivered wirelessly. Those who don't want to wait can manually check for updates in the system settings. Before installation, users should back up their data, ensure sufficient storage space is available, and charge the battery to at least 40 percent.

It's important to note that Android 16 is the last major update for some models. Devices like the Moto G54 or G32 will not receive any further major versions. Buyers should keep this in mind when choosing a new smartphone if they want long-term support.
