Caviar Creates a Luxury Version of the iPhone 17 - TECHNO REVIEW

Caviar Creates a Luxury Version of the iPhone 17

Caviar, a Russian luxury accessory manufacturer that frequently modifies tech devices, has released its latest line of modified iPhone 17s. Caviar redesigned the iPhone 17 Series using exclusive materials, such as 24-karat gold, aerospace-grade titanium, and genuine crocodile skin.

All of these materials are considered to make the Caviar modified device fall into the luxury collector's category, no longer just an ordinary cellphone.  The iPhone 17 Series, which was released in early September 2025, received several criticisms, particularly regarding its color aspect.

The iPhone 17 Series is considered less elegant than the colors typically presented by Apple on previous generations of iPhones.

From there, Caviar reworked the design of the iPhone 17 Series and released it in a special collection entitled "Rich Colors". This collection offers six different models: Cosmic Fire, Black Orange, Gold Navy, Silver Black, and Air Black, specifically designed for the iPhone Air.

The first model, named the Cosmic Fire, was redesigned by Caviar using orange Hermès Epsom leather combined with shades of brown and black steel.

Caviar also designed the iPhone 17 Series models using a frame coated with a scratch-resistant PVD coating. This design is claimed to increase the device's durability.

According to Caviar, this model features the "bold" symbol that appears on the bright orange variant of Apple's iPhone 17. The Cosmic Fire iPhone 17 is offered with a starting price of US$10,490.

Caviar's next modified iPhone 17 Series variant is called Black Orange. This model features a black-coated titanium finish combined with crocodile leather inlays and orange accents.

Caviar redesigned this variant of the phone, emphasizing sharp, contrasting colors and precise design details. The Black Orange variant starts at US$10,630.

Then there's the third model, called the Gold Navy. This model is designed using blue crocodile leather. Interestingly, Caviar has added 24-karat gold accents.

The gold accents are designed to exude elegance and high social status, a hallmark of Caviar's custom-made tech devices. The Gold Navy model starts at US$10,770

Next, Caviar introduced the iPhone 17 Series in a Silver Black model. This model targets users who prefer a more minimalist look, featuring  polished titanium and black crocodile leather.

Caviar offers the Silver Black model, priced starting at US$10,340. Not just for the iPhone 17 Series, Caviar also adds a luxurious touch to the iPhone Air. This model, called the Air Black, features a combination of black titanium and thin crocodile leather. The iPhone Air Black made by Caviar is sold with a price tag starting at US$7,900.

So it's a collector's item, not "just" a cell phone. Caviar emphasized that its modified iPhone lineup is not intended as a technological device used to support daily activities, but rather as a collector's item with high artistic value.

However, internally, the hardware and software specifications of this custom iPhone 17 Series remain identical to Apple's stock version. Caviar has only altered the exterior to make it more luxurious.

For users interested in collecting the Rich Colors variant of the iPhone 17 Series by Caviar, this device is now available for purchase on their official website.
