Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Flat and Thin

Samsung is reportedly preparing its latest flagship phone , the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Although it has not been officially confirmed, rumors about the successor to the Galaxy S25 Ultra are circulating widely on the internet, both regarding design and specifications.

The latest leak this time comes from a gadget leaker ( tipster ) with the handle @OnLeaks, who collaborated with technology media AndroidHeadlines. The two shared some CAD (Computer-Aided Design) render images of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

For your information, CAD is usually used to visualize a product, either in the form of 2-dimensional (2D) or 3-dimensional (3D) images.

Based on the CAD image, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra's design appears to feature a flat screen with a uniform, thin bezel on all sides.Compared to the previous generation, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the corners of the Galaxy S26 Ultra screen in the image are more rounded.

The leaked CAD images also show the back of the Galaxy S26 Ultra phone, which features a newer quad-camera design.The phone appears to have three lenses housed in a pill-shaped module, while another lens (the fourth camera) is positioned separately on the right side of the module.

Then, above the fourth camera, there is an LED flash and an additional cutout, which is thought to be a place for supporting sensors.Upon closer inspection, the Galaxy S26 Ultra's rear camera module appears to protrude slightly, as previously rumored.

Moving to the front, the design of this smartphone's selfie camera remains the same as its predecessor, featuring a punch hole module placed in the top center of the screen.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra specifications

Besides the design, numerous leaks are circulating online regarding the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Most recently, the camera specifications, chipset, and battery capacity of the phone were revealed.

According to the camera, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to retain the main camera, which has a resolution of 200 MP.Then the ultrawide camera is expected to come with a resolution of 50 MP, a 10 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a telephoto camera with support for 5x optical zoom.

In terms of performance, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is believed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. This chip was just launched at the end of September 2025.

However, there are also rumors that this smartphone will come with another chipset variant , namely the Exynos 2600.Regarding the battery, Samsung is expected to provide the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a 5,000 mAh battery. It will likely support wired charging at 60 watts.

Finally, in terms of the display, this device is said to feature the same 6.9-inch screen as its predecessor. However, leaks suggest that the screen will be slightly larger.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be released in early 2026, considering that its predecessor was also released in the same period this year.
