ChatGPT could work with Apple Health in the future.
OpenAI is working on connecting Apple Health to ChatGPT, though a launch date has not yet been announced.
A hidden Apple Health icon has been discovered in the source code of the current version of the ChatGPT app for iPhone. The filename suggests that users will soon be able to connect their health app directly to ChatGPT. The goal would be to provide more personalized answers based on individual health and fitness data.
Start time still unclear.
The planned interface would allow ChatGPT to access various categories, including activity, sleep, nutrition, respiration, and hearing health. This would enable significantly more personalized analyses and recommendations. However, the feature has not yet been officially confirmed.
Whether and when the integration will actually be activated is therefore also unclear. Should it come to that, Apple Health appears in the Apps & Connections section within the ChatGPT settings.
Many app connections already exist.
ChatGPT can already be connected to numerous services, including Dropbox, Google Drive, Gmail, GitHub, Notion, Slack, and Microsoft Outlook. The potential integration with Apple Health would, for the first time, expand this list to include sensitive health data.
