Doly Robot: Customizable AI companion from a 3D printer

The Doly robot is an open, 3D-printable companion based on a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4) and designed as a smart desktop pet. The gadget combines AI features with high adaptability and is aimed at hobbyists, educators, and anyone looking for an interactive robot friend.

Doly moves on tank tracks and has two round screens for eyes that display animations and emotions. Equipped with an 8-megapixel camera, microphones, speakers, touch sensors, an IMU, TOF, and IR sensors, it recognizes faces, voice commands, and environmental changes. This allows it to navigate autonomously without falling off the table, respond to "Hey Doly ," predict the weather, and take photos.
